I was skeptical when buying this because I read that people said it was like a swimsuit material... but when I got it it was just like it shows, and it is so cute to show off those chunky baby thighs!!!Fabric is soft but not light weight like you would expect for summer. The neck band is too big for the top and causes gaping around the neck. It could be just a fluke in production.Very cute, but cheap material. The straps also need to be threaded thru a couple loops and tied in the back so I always untie it when she has to go in her carseat or anything (who likes laying on a knot?). The material is thin and feels a little plasticy, but it was cute, cool for warm weather, and great for our fancy dinner til she blew out her diaper. Lol!I purchased this for my niece and it is super cute on her. She won't be able to wear it long, because baby is chunky lol but absolutely love this outfit. Had a small issue with one of the little pom poms coming off but other than that it's a great find.There were strings hanging out from everywhere and the material was very cheap and wrinkled. Returned. Unfortunately they don’t allow returns to Kohl’s so I had to pay the two dollars at UPS.I bought this a little big. My girl generally wears 12 months. I bought the 12-18 months because I wanted it a little big. It fits just how I wanted it to. One of the little balls did get snagged during a diaper change and ripped off. So I would just say be careful not to snag it. I personally, also recommend hand washing and air drying this. The ends could get tangled up.It is super cute. BUT the first time I washed it (before her even wearing it) all the little like cotton balls that dangle around the legs came off in the wash. That was disappointing but I suppose maybe if it was hand washed that wouldn’t have happened? Cute though and true to size I’d say.This is not made of cotton!! You can see the overlap and stitching in the headband. This is just plain misleading and atrocious. Don’t do.
