These are oddly loud, but not quite cheap snow pants loud. I don’t think they’d bug me as beach pants, but being inside I’m sure I’d get looks from the noise. They’re comfortable, but kind of like inexpensive microfiber sheets. Runs big though. I’m about a 29” waist (on the edge of small and medium per size chart). I purchased small. The front is flat and the back is elastic. These are two big on my waist. Unstretched, the circumference measures 31”. Stretched to its fullest is 38”. So my hips hold it up fine, but it’s baggy around my waist. I could modify these on my own and make them work, but I’m not sure if I want to.. my favorite part is they graze just above my feet. Being 5’ 3” I’m used to stepping on pants when I try them one. So score for short girls! I may or may not return these.
