I love this thing. I'm not quite at the point in pregnancy where I need it, but I after trying it on several times I think i might just wear it anyway.Overall I like this nursing top. It fit as I expected. I am 5'4" and 150lbs. I ordered a medium and it fits well. The material is really soft and it's held up well through the wash. I've even dried it once and it's still holding strong. There are two things about this shirt that caused me to leave a 4 star, rather than 5 star review.1. The lines on the sides of the shirt from the main front panel are much more noticeable than I expected. On the models, it looks cool and interesting but on me, I just feel like people stare at it thinking, why does her shirt have an opening there. Now, I'm sure I'm a little paranoid just due to my own feelings about the open sides, but they are more noticeable than I was expecting. I did guess this may be the case and ordered black to be on the safe side, so this has minimized that issue.2. This shirt is made to be both a maternity and nursing shirt. I realize this going into it,however, I really hate the pick ups on the side. They look cute on maybe people with longer torsos? But for me, they hit at a weird place, adding bulk where I definitely don't want added bulk. I had seen other shirt reviews where ladies have taken the elastic bands off the sides to remove the pick ups. I am playing with the idea of doing this. If I do, and it goes well, I'll update my review with before/after pictures. There are many things I love about the shirt. It's super soft and comfy, it covers my "mommy belly" and is nice and loose. It's light enough to ensure I don't get hot but not so light that it's see through at all. The most important aspect is that it's super easy to nurse in. You can even nurse without a cover and you have almost full coverage.Overall, I do recommend this shirt and am very happy with the purchase. I wear it a few times a week and am pleased. I may order this in another color.Pretty fabric, soft fabric, decent sewing, weird cut! Purchased the darker rose pattern on navy so that the side openings wouldn't show so much. I feel like I'm wearing a muscle shirt backwards. I bought a small, which has a generous amount of room and comes to the top of my hips (5'5"). Maybe a medium would fit me more like the length on the model. It is definitely pretty fabric, and the nursing openings are modest, yet easy to access. It's just weird the way the flaps on the sides sort of hang on the sides. Definitely functional, pattern is concealing enough that I think the weirdness is somewhat camouflaged... I hope. :-)I rated this a 3 star because of a small slit that this top has on the upper chest. The slit is more like a small puncture. It does not expose skin because of the under layer of this top. I am not sure how many washes this top will last because of this(hole will enlarge after washes). Defective but I won't be returning because I had already cut off the tags. I had not washed this yet. The product arrived quickly, and I had just cut the tags, put it on, and went out for the day. Didn't have the time to wash it due to an event I needed this for. I needed a discreet breastfeeding top and this does the job well and wears comfortably. In the future, I will inspect the material more closely. If I had inspected this top before cuting the tags, I would had returned for a new one. May I also add, this is the second top that I purchased from Smallshow. Was very pleased with the first so I had to purchase another in a different color! Really too bad for the small puncture in the second top I had just received. If not for the hole, I would rate 5 star instead of 3.This shirt is comfortable and cute for a nursing top. However, the opening to nurse through is small and I constantly had to adjust it or hold it open for my baby to access my boob. I’m a C cup. It’s fine for going out in public where appearance is more important than convenience but it was way too annoying to deal with all day at home. I ended up taking it off in the middle of a nursing session because it frustrated me so much to have to keep adjusting my shirt out of my baby’s way. It’s too bad because otherwise I liked this top but the small opening is a deal breaker for me.I received this item last week and was very pleased with the style and feel. It was a little looser than anticipated, but fit perfectly in the arm holes, so it just made for a flowy top. Perfect for summer weather. The fabric did start to pull a little after one wash and dry, so I will no longer be putting it in the dryer. That is the only reason I am giving this 4 stars instead of 5. It is perfect for nursing and once baby is latched the fabric falls back into place and you can't see anything. What you see is what you get. This is the perfect no-frills tank top for the pregnancy/breastfeeding season of life. The fabric is standard weight and quality with solid seams and stitching: good for layering and repeated wash and wear.Super easy and discreet access for feeding even fussy, distracted littles. The double shirt method, which I still use otherwise, doesn't even compare for ease. It also allows for easy, no tucking/untucking access while wearing a sling or carrierI'd call the fit "easy". Fitted enough that you won't be exposed when you bend over or your little gets handsy, but loose enough to fit a pregnancy belly or forgive the postpartum looseness.I'm 5'6", 180ish lbs, size 12-16 and the large is that perfect blend of flattering and forgiving. I have 2 in XL that I wore for the first 3 months to give me a little more space, but I now prefer the Large as I get back to my pre-pregnancy weight. Buy the size as if you were purchasing a shirt off the rack in your standard Target/Gap.A total "mom uniform" staple for me. If you're hesitating, go for it! I recommend them to every breastfeeding mother I meet!I ordered several nursing tops and this one is my favorite... And I vary between sizes and sometimes online sizes are like junior's so I ordered it big and I probably could have gone down a size... Also the material is stretchy plus the front panel is loose so its flattering in the places your not happy about post baby...My wife purchased this, fit here perfect except the top rode a little too low for her liking, feeling like she was exposing a little too much of her chest but was easily adjustedClingy fabric. If you have any kind of belly postpartum this shirt will stick to it and show it off to the world. I was hoping it would flow overtop but nope.I bought this on a whim and it turned out to be my favourite nursing top, so I went back and ordered a few different colours. It was great for postpartum as it was loose around my midsection, but fit perfect everywhere else. Great for the summer and the fit was what I expected, as I'm 5'9 I was worried it may be too short but it was not. I highly recommend these tops.Love the feel of the material, looks a bit smaller than I expected, but I'll have to wait until after Baby is here to try it on.
